About Mack Fire Inc.

Mack Fire Inc.’s history goes back to World War II when a group of individuals formed the Mack Volunteer Fire Department to help meet civil defense needs in Green Township on Cincinnati’s West Side. Following the war, the Mack Volunteer Fire Department provided fire and EMS services until 1983, when it became a department of Green Township.

While Mack Fire Inc. would no longer operate as an active fire department, its members—former and current Green Township firefighters and EMT’s—have continued the organization’s selfless spirit by raising and donating funds for Green Township Fire & EMS to purchase items not usually covered by the department’s budget.
